Squaring the circle for the CIO: "Doing more with less"
Squaring the circle for the CIO: "Doing more with less"
IT is expanding its share of the company's value creation and taking on an increasingly strategic and transformational role, which in turn makes IT requirements more complex. Added to this is the currently dominant topic of Artificial Intelligence (AI), which brings a range of challenges. IT organizations are also struggling with budget cuts while their scope of activities expands.
What role will IT organizations and the CIO play in companies in the future? How will IT budgets evolve? And how does IT support the goals that companies pursue with the use of AI? Our current study, Adaptive IT 7.0, addresses these issues. We surveyed 312 business and IT decision-makers from small, medium-sized and large companies, including more than 40 percent CxOs, across over 15 industries in 8 countries.
