During an internship as fellow consultant, you are part of our consulting team, and you will have the opportunity to become familiar with the whole range of consulting work: both during the academic year and in the orientation period between undergraduate and master’s degrees. As a member of our team, you will be involved in consulting projects or the daily business of one of our corporate functions, right from the start. For example, you might help with creating studies and journal articles, conducting research, or preparing presentations. To be an intern, you should ideally be in at least your second semester of studies and aim to spend at least two to three months with us.
A working student position gives you the chance to support our teams on various consulting activities. Your working hours can be carefully tailored to fit with your study schedule.
If you want to write your bachelor’s or master’s thesis with us, it is typically offered on the basis of a previous internship. We are happy to support work on a subject related to the practice of consulting. We look forward to hearing your proposal!
Out of sight, out of mind? Definitely not. We encourage students who have displayed excellent performance during their internship by accepting them into the Horváth Student Club. From that point until the completion of their studies, we support Student Club members and offer them exclusive events, knowledge-sharing, and the opportunity to return to work for us as a working student or to write their thesis at our firm. In Germany, we offer internships on an ongoing basis without standardized entry dates. In Switzerland, internships typically start in January or July, each lasting six months. In Austria, internships can begin at the start of each quarter. You can also find information on the intended start date in each of our job postings.
In principle, we offer internships at all our locations in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. However, the selection of possible locations may vary depending on the consulting area or Corporate Function you are interested in.
