Accounting & Controlling

Our Accounting service unit prepares, manages and consolidates the annual financial statements of all national and international subsidiaries of the Horváth Group on a yearly basis. Other tasks include accounting and financial reporting, an audit of all domestic and international tax-related matters and timely payment processing.

Our Controlling team is responsible for planning and reporting as a central service area. This especially includes project, sales and group controlling. The Controlling team supports commercial project management to provide a stable framework for the dynamic project business of our consultants.

Office Management

Our Office Management forms the heart of our offices. As the central point of contact, the Office Management team ensures that our offices are filled with life and that both colleagues and visitors feel comfortable. The coordination of meeting and conference rooms, facility management and general office organization are among the central tasks. Office Management is also responsible for planning and organizing internal events, making a decisive contribution to smooth processes and a pleasant working atmosphere.

Payroll Accounting & Fleet Management

Payroll Accounting
The Payroll Accounting team is responsible for the payroll accounting of all Horváth Group companies and also a point of contact for all employees, interns, working students, temporary staff and trainees. A wide range of tasks are also performed in the interface areas between Accounting, Controlling and HR.

Fleet Management
The Fleet Management team deals with all issues relating to our company fleet in the DACH locations and is the point of contact for all employees with company cars. With a view to the company's CO2 footprint, the team supports the ongoing development of our green car policy towards sustainable mobility.

The Research & Knowledge Services team supports our consulting teams in all questions relating to knowledge management and research.

Research includes responsibility for consulting-related inquiries about different sectors and subjects, as well as overseeing studies.

Knowledge management provides the technical infrastructure to facilitate the consulting processes with internal organizational knowledge. It promotes the internal exchange of knowledge and the development of new and innovative knowledge within the company.

Our Sales, Marketing & Communications team is responsible for maintaining a professional corporate presence aligned to our brand.

Along with planning, measuring and monitoring all marketing activities, our colleagues also support all sales-related processes and measures, such as account management, direct sales, lead management, and proposal management for example. Our team is also responsible for media and presentation design, public relations, and coordinating our online channels.

The Service Operations & Legal team supports our consulting colleagues in their daily work.

This includes the provision and review of contracts with clients and suppliers as well as the commissioning of and cooperation with our external employees. Other responsibilities include the provision of tools and methodologies for the daily project work of our consultants as well as advice on data protection and legal issues.

Your career prospects as an assistant

Have you completed an apprenticeship? If so, the assistant career path might be the perfect fit for you.
As a Project Assistant, you will support our consulting teams by organizing and coordinating projects, assisting with studies, and preparing presentations. You will carry out market analyses, draft offers for project acquisition, and schedule meetings with potential clients. In addition, you will take on other specialized tasks independently. With your excellent organizational skills, you’ll support office management, our partners, and the individual teams across a broad range of tasks. These include coordinating appointments, organizing meetings, and, when needed, handling travel arrangements. You will also conduct research and contribute to the creation of industry-specific documents and presentations.

How does the selection process work and how can I prepare for it?

Now that your documents have intrigued us, we want to get to know you personally - and give you the opportunity to get to know us too! Ultimately, both sides must decide that they are right for each other. Our selection process usually consists of two stages. We get to know each other personally and professionally in the first interview. If this meeting is positive for both sides, a second interview takes place where you will get to know more colleagues. You will also work on a case study.

The aim of the interviews should be to enable both sides to make a decision. The best way to prepare for this is to engage intensively with the position’s requirements as well as with your goals and wishes. What should your new tasks look like and what expectations do you have of us as employers? Why do you want a new orientation? We also recommend that you prepare well for the case study.
