- Three new partners appointed for the 2025-2026 fiscal year
- Management team expanded by more than 70 new Principals and Senior Project Managers as part of the current round of promotion
At the start of the new fiscal year on April 1, 2025, there are not only two new board members, Heiko Fink (CSO) and Niko Hofmann (CFO/CIO), but also changes at the partner level. Three new members are joining the partnership with immediate effect: Patrick Heurich from the Performance Improvement, Restructuring & Transactions business unit; Peter Sattler, an expert in sustainability and decarbonization; and Dennis Schmidt from the Accounting & Operational Control business unit. Additionally, the management teams were expanded by over 70 experts as part of the current round of promotions at the Principal and Senior Project Manager levels. Despite challenging market conditions, the management consultancy has grown by an average of around ten percent per annum over the past three fiscal years, including 2024/2025.
Patrick Heurich (41) has been Head of the Performance Improvement, Restructuring & Transactions business unit since April. During his first tenure as a consultant at Horváth from 2015-2019, Heurich helped establish the national company in the Middle East, among other achievements. After a two-year stint at a competitor, he returned to Horváth in 2021, where he successfully implemented international transformation projects and continued to specialize in performance optimization and restructuring, particularly in the private equity and M&A environments. Heurich holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Mannheim and has gained extensive international study experience, including in private equity at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Peter Sattler (40) is an expert in sustainability and co-head of the group-wide strategic initiative "Sustainability & Green Transformation." He successfully manages international projects and combines sustainability, strategy, and finance expertise in interdisciplinary teams. Sattler is the third partner of the Austrian national company in Vienna, which grew by 30 percent in revenue in the last fiscal year. He is responsible for the Sustainability, Chemicals, and Energy business units in Austria. Before joining Horváth in 2010, Sattler completed a master's degree with a focus on corporate management and controlling at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
Dennis Schmidt (35) is an expert in operational controlling. Since April, he has been co-head of the Management Accounting and Operational Control business unit, in whose expansion and strategic development he has played a key role in recent years. His project focus is on holistic (ERP) transformation and the commercial optimization of project and service businesses. Before joining the management consultancy in 2019, Dennis Schmidt worked in the finance department of the international automotive supplier LEONI, including in various controlling functions and most recently as the person responsible for the group-wide finance transformation. Dennis Schmidt studied business administration at the University of Hamburg and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of St. Gallen.
